A Coach Who Knows What Teens Go Through

LMK Coaching Academy is named after its founder’s Chinese name — Li Man Kin. Stanley holds doctoral degrees in Sports Science and Natural Health & Nutrition, is a Certified Ergonomic Specialist, and holds a certificate in Neuroscience Coaching. After 10 years of corporate consultancy in ergonomics, he set out to combine all of his work experience and athleticism into a coaching career that is different from others.

Stanley struggled with academics himself in middle and high school — he knows firsthand what teenagers go through: rigid parental expectations, relationships with peers, and the pressure to perform. A believer in Jesus Christ, he feels called to serve adolescents, and works intimately with teens and their parents — because trust among parents, children, and coach is paramount for success.

If your child struggles with academic performance, depression, or learning difficulties — or simply wants to learn new skills in sports and martial arts — LMK Coaching Academy is the right place for you and your kids.

Coaching Services for Your Teen

LMK Coaching Academy services fall into three categories.

Martial Art Coaching

Wing Chun (the martial art from the IP Man movies), Shaolin styles, Krav Maga, and Taekwondo — taught by a coach who grew up in Hong Kong fascinated by its martial arts. Self-defense for young children and Chinese martial arts for adults.

Table Tennis Coaching

Coaching from a competitive player ranked 1500–1600 USATT. Studies show ping pong can enhance the brain’s neuroplasticity through high-level hand-eye coordination. Book one to two weeks ahead to ensure table availability.

Neuroscience Coaching

One-on-one coaching that explores your child’s challenges in academic performance. Stanley guides teens through exercises and cognitive restructuring techniques to cope with stress — because when stress reduces, learning potential can be optimized.

Tennis Coaching

Learn from a competitive USTA player (4.0–4.5 ranking) with a background in Sports Science — using proper biomechanics to improve your technique. Please book one to two weeks in advance to ensure court availability.
